Plot
Gulliver’s Travels is a modern adaptation of the classic novel by Jonathan Swift. The story follows Lemuel Gulliver, a travel writer, who travels to Bermuda to write about the legend of disappearing ships. However, on travelling to Bermuda he becomes caught in a storm and washes up on the shore of the island of Lilliput where he is considered a giant compared to the island’s citizens.

Plot
This part live action, part animated adaptation of Jonathan Swift’s novel focuses on the Lilliput voyage where Gulliver goes to sea as a ships surgeon only to wind up on the shores of a mysterious land of tiny inhabitants.

Plot
Unsatisfied with his life an impoverished Dr Lemuel Gulliver decides to join a ship destined for India in the search for riches and adventure. After being swept overboard in the midst of a storm Gulliver washes up on the shores of Lilliput, a land inhabited by tiny humans. The story continues with Gulliver intervening in age old war between Lilliput and there neighboring enemies and then is forced to journey to another Island inhabited by giants.

Plot
Gulliver finds himself washed ashore on the island of Lilliput where he discovers he’s now a giant among a Kingdom of miniscule inhabitants where he must prevent a war between Lilliput and their rivals the Blefuscu and attempts to unite the Prince and Princess with the aim of creating love and harmony between the two kingdoms.
The New Gulliver (1935)
A stop motion animation produced in Soviet Russia by Aleksandr Ptushko. Perhaps seen as the Communist re-telling of the famous tale the story follows a young boy (Vladimir Vladimir Konstantinovich Konstantinov) who dreams of himself in an exploited and capitalistically unequal Lilliput as the traveller Gulliver.
The film earned widespread acclaim and led to a special prize being awarded to Aleksandr Ptushko at the International Cinema Festival in Milan for his work.

Le Voyage de Gulliver à Lilliput et chez les géants (1902)
Translated to “Gulliver’s Travels Among the Lilliputians and the Giants”, this silent French short had a run time of 4 minutes and was the first film adaptation of the classic novel.
